Reduce Risk – Host a PoolSafe BC Course
There are between 80 and 100 time-loss injuries each year in BC to aquatic staff. To mitigate risk and increase staff awareness, offer a PoolSafe BC course. The PoolSafe BC course is a one-day course developed in partnership with BCRPA, BC Municipal Safety Association, WorkSafeBC, Lifesaving Society and CUPE BC. The course provides important information and procedures to help aquatics workers and management take the necessary steps in worker accident prevention. For more information, download the course outline or learn more on how to host a course.
