CITY OF RICHMOND
The City of Richmond worked with the supervisors, managers and union reps of various departments to develop light or modified duty examples. The ideas were then formalized into 1 page mini-JDA descriptions specifically designed for physicians to review and approve, recognizing doctors will not take the time to read through a 25 page document but will most likely review and approve a short description. The mini-JDA’s were developed with assistance from an Occupational Therapist and include the types of injuries the proposed task would be compatible with which assists both a first aid attendant or supervisor at the very early stage of an injury.
