Candice Roffe – City of White Rock
Candice started her municipal safety career in 2009 and has been an active member of the BCMSA for over a decade. Candice has previously served on subcommittees and utilizes and actively promotes BCMSA’s services and resources. As a dedicated, Board certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional who believes in continual improvement and life-long learning she brings the knowledge, skills, and competency to positively contribute to the association and its members.
As a strategic, progressive, and innovative thinker coming from a smaller municipality, Candice would bring representation and a voice to the board for other smaller municipalities, in addition to larger local governments. Candice would use her experience, professionalism, and collaborative approach to assist the Board of Directors and the association in achieving it’s mandate to improve worker safety, enhance safety culture and to be the health and safety resources of choice in the local government sector.
The Board of Directors role would give Candice the opportunity to focus her passion for health and safety on making a wider impact, driving the association, our industry and the safety profession forward while giving back to the association and people that have supported her (and her municipality) all these years.
