Certified External or Internal Auditors, or internal auditor candidates, are required to submit a Notice of Audit form prior to receiving the audit tool key at least 2 weeks prior to the audit start date. Submit your Notice of Audit form to Drew Rassers, Programs & Initiatives Client Services (drassers@bcmsa.ca).
To assist with your Audit preparations, municipalities should utilize the Large Employer Audit Spreadsheet Printable Nov 2016 (3854 downloads ) . SafeCare BC organizations are recommended to use the Large-Employer-Audit-Spreadsheet 230906 – SafeCare BC, while those categorized under Community Social Services should employ the Large-Employer-Audit-Spreadsheet 230906 – CSS. These tools include the document, observation, and interview questions the auditor will be looking for, doing, and asking. This tool will also help you determine the number of interviews required in your organization before an auditor requests a “key” for the web-based audit tool.
Please note: the Stay at Work / Return to Work (SAW/RTW) questions and documentation that were previously approved by WorkSafeBC are still included here to help you evaluate your Program.
