Sunshine has been working as a safety consultant for the last four years and prior to that a safety coordinator primarily in the forest industry. She is also a safety auditor for the BC Forest Safety Council and instructs Occupational First Aid and WorkSafeBC safety courses. Her strengths are creating health and safety programs to meet the specific needs of her client and creating simple techniques for effective safety compliance.
Linda brings 24 plus years in the Municipal sector Occupational Health and Safety and Disability Management/Return to Work programs for the District of Saanich until her recent retirement in June 2014. She was instrumental in preparing the District of Saanich for their first successful COR Audit including the Occupational Health and Safety and Return to Work certificates. She worked diligently in both areas to ensure a very high standard was achieved and maintained.
Prior to joining the District of Saanich, Linda worked in heavy construction and the ship repair industry as Occupational Health and Safety and Occupational First Aid attendant.
She has spent over 20 years as an Occupational First Aid Level III instructor and mentor to many in the Victoria and surrounding areas.

As a registered forester, David’s forestry career included implementing safety programs involving high risk field environments, machinery and manufacturing. David is an internal ISO 14001 and CSA Z809 auditor and is currently an external auditor for the BC Municipal Safety Association and the BC Forest Safety Council. He has been working with many clients in the local government, health care and forestry sectors in assisting them with their certification efforts. He believes in working with clients to integrate their health and safety program into their existing administration systems in order to help them achieve and maintain an efficient and effective certified safety program. Located in Richmond, B.C., he is willing to travel as required.

Leon is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), with a two-year diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from BCIT. He has over ten years experience in OH&S and has worked in many different levels of government. Leon has work experience in many areas including commercial and residential construction, road construction and maintenance, manufacturing, landscaping, traffic management and control. He is willing and able to travel to all corners of the province.
Paige Knapman, CRSP

Paige Knapman is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Certified Disabilities Management Professional (CDMP) and is a Director with the Pacific Rim Chapter of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE). She has been involved in workplace health and safety for over 20 years with several industries including manufacturing, processing and local government. Paige has more than ten years of safety management systems auditing experience with the Partnerships COR program across three provinces. Paige is the Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator for the City of Courtenay on Vancouver Island and continues to offer her services as an external COR auditor on a limited availability basis. Paige is pleased to have recently assisted the Cities of Nanaimo and Powell River to achieve their COR certification and has several professional references available.
Caleb Mierau, CRSP
Caleb is a 2001 graduate of BCIT’s Occupational Health and Safety program, achieving his Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation.
He is currently the Health & Safety Supervisor with the City of Kamloops and has been involved in Municipal Health and Safety for the past 7 years. His experience includes residential and commercial construction and forestry.
Dean Sinclair, RPF
Since 2007 Dean has conducted over 300 COR audits for 5 different certifying partners, including the BCMSA. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with over 13 years of safety management experience. He has a client base across BC in a wide variety of fields, including local/regional government, commercial construction, forestry, health care, road construction/maintenance and manufacturing.
Dean has a reputation for his high level of professionalism and ability to work with each client to provide an unbiased, realistic assessment of their safety program. Dean’s BCMSA audits include Skytrain, City of Abbotsford, AdvoCare Health Services, Coast Mountain Bus and others.

Chelsea Steinfeld graduated the BCIT Occupational Health and Safety Program in 1999 and brings a wealth of OH&S knowledge to any workplace. She has safety experience in a variety of industries including oil & gas, education, healthcare and municipal government.
As a Safety Advisor for the Township of Langley, and most recently as the Manager of Audit and Training Services at the BCMSA, her municipal experience is extensive. She has been involved in all aspects of OH&S including auditing, disability management, training, program development and inspections. She enjoys the auditing process and the onsite experience with people and processes.
