Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the most strongly empirically supported treatment approach for anxiety and depression – the most common psychological health conditions. CBT is based on the well-supported principles that how we think, feel and act influence one another; therefore by changing how we think or act, we can change how we feel. In this session, attendees will learn about the basic principles of CBT, and gain useful skills and strategies for making changes to thoughts and behaviours in a way to improve overall psychological health and wellness.
