Instructor: Roadmasters Safety Group

Terry and Sheila Fiorin formed Roadmasters Safety Group in 1997 to meet the growing need for training Emergency Services personnel where many departments were in remote locations, developing a mobile Air Brake Training Facility. As training demands grew, RSG incorporated Defensive Driver training, Safe Operation of Fire Apparatus and Traffic Control training and Mobile Equipment training to meet the provincial standards for both the Construction industry and Emergency Scene.

Terry Fiorin has been teaching driver improvement courses since 1983; Volunteer Driver Trainer with the Fire Service from 1989-1999. He is certified by ICBC as an Air Brake Instructor Trainer and Driver Trainer Class 1 through 5; Instructor Trainer for the Canada Safety Council; Traffic Control & Emergency Scene Instructor 1997 and was Master Trainer Auditing Traffic Control Instructor Practices 2006-2010.

Sheila Fiorin comes from the Fire Service as 911 Dispatcher and now Driver Training Instructor Class 5/7 – since 2010; Instructor for Canada Safety Council – since 1997; Traffic Control & Emergency Scene Instructor – since 1997; Traffic Control Requalification Instructor – since 2006; Master Trainer – Traffic Control Train the Trainer and Auditor / BC Construction Safety Alliance (2010-2013); Auto Smart Fuel Efficient Train the Trainer / Natural Resources Canada – since 2010

Gerry Wellman is a former heavy duty mechanic. His experience includes: Defensive Driving Course Instructor; Hazardous Avoidance Trainer; Air Brake Instructor and Assessment Officer; Driver Training Instructor (Class 5 & 7); Graduated Licensing Instructor (Class 5 & 7); Forklift Safety Instructor trainer; Traffic Control Person/assisting in roadside practical training.
