Respectful Conduct in the Workplace for Managers
Course Description:
The purpose of this Respectful Conduct in the Workplace for Managers Training Program is to provide all managers and supervisors with skills and information that will allow them to understand their legal responsibility in fostering a respectful workplace. The program will also provide participants with skills to be able to describe the forms of workplace bullying and harassment, have an increased awareness of those behaviours which constitute bullying and harassment and understand their organization’s policy and complaint procedure on bullying and harassment. Following the program, participants will also know what employees should do if they witness or experience bullying or harassment, how to respond to initial complaints or concerns of bullying or harassment and understand appropriate interventions for dealing with bullying or harassment issues. The program also provides information about what employees should do if they are accused of bullying or harassment.
The training program consists of a 4-hour classroom session consisting of a mix of lecture, demonstration and group activities.
