Sergio Picco – City of Burnaby

May 25, 2021/in BOD elections

Sergio Picco, Manager Occupational Health & Safety, City of Burnaby currently sits on the BCMSA Board of Director as the active Treasurer of the Executive Committee.

Sergio has been a long-standing member of the BCMSA since 2001. Over the years he has served on various committees such as, CORTAC, EDTAC and the BCMSA Conference Committees, as well as numerous Sub-committees. His work on initiative programs has aided the BCMSA’s development in becoming a leading association and helped to strengthen and enhance service to the safety community.

Sergio is familiar with the growth of the BCMSA and the organization’s Strategic Plan for the future enhancement and sustainability. His committed involvement with the BCMSA has both benefited the organization and the government safety sector.

Sergio’s knowledge, experience and dedication to Health & Safety is an asset to the BCMSA and the City of Burnaby. His leadership style is quiet, yet determined, as he strives to build solid new foundations and advance important initiatives during challenging times. He is a “Big Picture” thinker, thoughtfully considering the needs of all stakeholders in the continuation of program improvements and resources.

Sergio is honoured and privileged to serve on the BCMSA Board of Directors and humbly appreciates your continued support.
