Update May 21, 2013:  DO NOT USE the safe work procedure for cutting AC Pipe with a K-12 saw and water until further notice.  Recently, a study was conducted in Kelowna for cutting AC Pipe with a Stanley “Chainsaw” (a bit of a misnomer).  During the set up for that process, WorkSafeBC required the use of local exhaust ventilation as per Regulation 6.18.  We weren’t required to use LEV when doing the study with a K-12 saw.  Please do not use a K-12 saw/water attachment to cut AC Pipe, unless you have local exhaust ventilation – until we determine the next steps.
